(R'n'r) Fotografija je "povišena stvarnost" - prkos i stav
Izraz Fotografija je povišena stvarnost, u stvari govori o tome, kako fotografirajući, uzimamo djelić stvarnosti i potenciramo ga samim uzimanjem. Dakle, naglašavamo ga i nekako smo istovremeno superobjektivni i krajnje neobjektivni=subjektivni. Kod rnr fotki je to sve još jače, prvenstveno zbog osobnosti rokera, koje su često drugačije, prkosne, nekonformirane..... Neka ovo bude parada stava i prkosa....zanimljivo je vidjet ćete....

Sinead O'Connor (1988, NYC) - I always prefer to photograph people with as little artificial ornamentation as possible. A simple, strong portrait of an incredible talent.

Siouxsie Sioux (1982, NYC) - This was taken at the Gramercy Park Hotel. Siouxsie and the Banshees were in town to perform at the Ritz. I have another shot of all four of them in bed together. If you're really good, maybe I'll post it later

The Clash (1981, NYC) - The Clash took over Bond's (a former clothing store turned nightclub) in Times Square for an entire week in June, with different opening acts every night.. I went five of those seven nights and saw everyone from the Slits to ....oh gosh, everyone - open for them. Because I was shooting them for the cover of Sounds, I was granted plenty of access. We shot this on the rooftop.

Michael Stipe, R.E.M. (1983, Washington, DC) - A moody shot of Michael posing in the cocktail lounge of their hotel. Note the "popcorn doors" in the background. We loved those doors. Like many of my shoots with Michael, this was a collaborative effort - down to planning the smoke and half-empty martini glasses.
